SALARY: $130,400 – $146,700

ROLE SUMMARY :
Anheuser-Busch is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic legal professional to drive strategic objectives for Brewers Collective, the company’s craft business unit. This is a unique opportunity to impact a fast-growing and critically important function of the business.
Preferred locations: New York, NY; St. Louis, MO, or Portland, OR
JOB R ESPONSIBILITIES :
Serve as day-to-day legal lead for 10-12+ of Anheuser-Busch’s craft brewery partners.
Provide legal advice to craft beer business unit on core company policies.
Ensure craft brewery partners comply with federal and state laws.
Provide legal advice and coordinate with internal and external experts regarding new product development/innovation process.
Oversee review of national, regional, and local craft brand marketing campaigns.
Manage transactions and contracts tied to craft brand partnerships and activations.
Collaborate with Anheuser-Busch’s corporate legal team, including on matters of Intellectual Property, Compliance, Commercial Transactions, Employment, and Government Affairs.
Manage or assist in litigation matters.
Take on special projects as needed.
Engage and manage outside counsel as needed and in accordance with company guidelines.
Some travel required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
The potential team member must be self-motivated, diligent, have strong communication skills, and be a relationship builder. This position will also require new team member to be a creative thinker and problem solver, and to work both independently and collaboratively.
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
Experience in litigation and transaction law a plus
Previous in-house legal experience, preferably in a large or multi-national company
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines
Project management expertise
