In exchange, you’ll get to join an incredible family of passionate cannabis professionals and benefit from continual opportunities for professional development and industry education.ResponsibilitiesConduct sales and customer service through maintaining a properly stocked, organized, uncluttered, safe, and inviting store environmentPromote work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, including greeting customers warmly when they enterComply with established state, local and company policies and proceduresStaying up-to-date with new products, strains, changes in law, and industry trends in order to provide the highest level of customer serviceEducate clients about a variety of cannabis products including flower, edibles, and concentrates, providing information on cannabis products based on client needs/requestsAdvising client on proper safety measures to follow when consuming cannabisMaintain and use completely and accurately (POS) and METRC systems for all in-store, online, and phone ordersHandle completely and accurately cash and discount applicationVerify proper paperwork, documentation and ID of all customersWeighing and packaging products as neededRequirementsExceptional interpersonal and customer service skillsSelf-motivated with a positive attitude, team-oriented and disciplined work ethicDetail-oriented; able to stay organized and on task in a fast-paced environmentPrevious retail cannabis experience strongly preferredExperience handling cash transactions and maintaining a balanced drawerAbility to perform to sales goals and team goals2+ years of experience in a retail environment1+ years of cannabis retail experience preferredHigh School DiplomaMinimum of 21 years of ageMust pass any and all required background checksMust remain compliant with all state and company rules and regulationsMust be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds. This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouchingJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSchedule:8 hour shiftWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:TipsCOVID-19 considerations:We are taking all appropriate COVID-19 precautions.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)License/Certification:OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit (Required)Work Location: Multiple Locations
