Job Description : The Director of Engineering leads the organization’s engineering projects by working closely with Operations, Engineering and Purchasing to drive continuous process improvement and innovation of safe operation of all products.Roles and Responsibilities: Analyze current processes through observation and data gathering leading to continuous improvement initiatives.Conceptualize new processes through experience, research and collaboration with engineering staffLead projects by documenting vision, designing and developing project plan and leading the cross functional team through realization of the projectLead/Manage process engineering group to realize initiativesDetermine and document equipment standards.Communicate with and manage outside suppliers for equipment and facility solutions.Generate documentation and provide training as part of roll out of new process design solutions.Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred.5 to 10 years experience in manufacturing engineering.Planning / organizational skills with ability to hit timelines and budgetsWorking knowledge of time-study and Standardized Work methodology.Aptitude for problem solving in a multi-disciplined team environment.Experience with lean techniques, 5S, etc.Proficiency in Solid Works/AutoCAD requiredCapable with Microsoft Office products like Excel, Project, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.Should have some working knowledge of NMMA Standards and Boat BuildingHydrodynamic background is preferred but not requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Bristol, IN 46507: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering Technicians: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
