EH&S and QUALITY
To provide safe working site for execution workmen at various MOD job sites.
Checking job sites accurately and preparing site to commence erection after filling ON LINE PRE START.
Filling up of Safety forms- checking/correcting unsafe acts during elevator erection jobs.
Conduct periodicTool Box Talks and regular meetings with Construction team.
Conducting random audits – Implement findings.
Ensure for maintain the quality of all handover units
Ensure that Construction work in his area is carried out to achieve required standards of performance and quality.
TECHNICAL
To ensure that the standard of construction staff is such that Primary performance objectives may be achieved.
Checking / studying layouts to advice client on preparing site.
Checking materials and handing over to erector.
Ensure for maintain quality of local material fabrication as per their requirement
Raising Field Trouble report and raising the AMT for short/ wrong shipment and follow up from factory.
PLANNING
Carries out various technical/admin work in relation to Construction work to avoid delays.
Preparing Building report / Shipment Report at appropriate time and ensure for submit Work schedule to every customer
Coordinating with carrier for material delivery.
Arranging right manpower and tools for erection completion.
Coordinating with Service for NIS inspection.
Plan for visit site along with Mod Sales team at all Mod site and share the update with customer
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
To ensure that good relationships are maintained with our customers at site.
Cordial relationships are maintained with builders, owner, architects, Government inspectors.
Attends all site meetings ensuring that the views of OTIS are always represented.
Handing over of elevators / Handing over ceremony.
ETHICS & COMPLIANCE
Ensure for maintain decorum all the time and immediate reporting to higher management if any unethically behavior noticed
COST CONTROL
To check and monitor various expenses in Construction Department and control Construction efficiency.
Prepare weekly expense report.
TRAINING
To ensure adherence to defined system of training for self-development as well as for his/her team of workmen (including sub contractors )
The Candidate should be Diploma- Electrical with 8 to 10 ys relevant work experience or B.E./B.Tech.- Electrical with 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience in Elevator Industry and should have handled big Projects CPWD/Railways etc.
