OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Support Material Planners in day to day activities related to GSI, KPI Monitoring, Data Maintainance etc
Control the settings of logistics parameters in the ERP system. Enter, update, maintain and correct data in ERP.
Create material requisitions at proper time, quantity and delivery lead times.
Optimize (minimum) order quantities; re-order points, safety stock levels in alignment with Material Planners/Manager
Support MPs to Re-evaluate minimum order quantities for the material to minimize stress in the supply chain and simultaneously minimize inventory costs.
Monitor all KPIs, Dashboards of Material Planning/Warehouse and publish weekly/monthly reports to management

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluate various assortments and their settings in ERP with the purpose to improve our delivery performance by changing these material parameters in ERP.
Identify exceptions messages in GSI to generate a good material forecast. ·
Monitor PR & PO ageing and follow up with Sourcing and Material Planners to ensure On time PO placement as per delivery date in PR
Monitor Purchase Orders acknowledgements
Periodically report KPI of Material Planning, Warehouse and Planning, Monitor the gaps and secure action plan from person in charge
Support Material Planners to create NCR, Subcontracting Purchase Orders
Monitor ageing of materials sent on subcontracting and publish reports of ageing of such material to provide visibility
Regular meetings with Material Planners on KPIs, Openly discuss our performance, identify root causes and agree on action plans to improve our performance.
Weekly reporting of findings and actions to Manager Procurement/Supply Chain.

Others
In case of absence of colleagues, take over their activities in (tactical) material planning. ·
Initiate purchase requisitions for non-planned material. ·
Other activities such as: department meetings, process flows descriptions.
