Job Description : What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone to come join our work family as the Prosthetics and Orthotics Documentation Coordinator. Experience as a medical documentation coordinator would be awesome but we’d be happy with someone who has medical billing, charting, coding or even medical office experience. What you don’t know we can teach you so being willing and able to learn quickly is a must. You will be working closely with our service providers, the biller, insurance companies, the customer-patient and/or their care-givers/family members, and their healthcare providers such as doctors, therapists, hospitals, nurses. Most of your work will be telephonic in addition to computer-based. Your challenge is to obtain the documentation from the healthcare provider(s) that the customer-patient’s insurance company requires. You will be coordinating your efforts with the service provider and the biller to be sure you acquire the proper chart notes, documents, signatures, forms, etc ; making sure all the T’s are crossed and all I’s are dotted before providing the goods and services so we can finally submit as clean of claim as possible.Necessary Skills: detail oriented, clear and concise communicator, working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook), medical office/billing/charting/coding experience, organized, able to track and simultaneously work on multiple projects, team player, adapt quickly, meet deadlines, work well with others, collaborates and coordinates between parties.How To Apply: If this sounds like the work and environment you or someone you know would like to be a part of, please introduce yourself via a cover letter and resume.
