Job Description : Are you friendly, outgoing and like to work with a variety of people? The Spa Desk Coordinator works in the beautiful, serene Sage Springs Spa. Duties of this part time position include, but are not limited to, scheduling spa treatments and fitness classes, answering phones and greeting and providing tours for guests and light cleaning duties. this position requires high attention to detail, strong customer service skills and ability to multi-task.Just a quick 15 minute drive south of Bend, join the Sunriver Resort team and discover why we were voted the Best Place to Work in Central Oregon in 2021!ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: · Greets and welcomes guests upon arrival· Accepts payment from guests· Books spa appointments· Distributes locker keys, spa robes, slippers, etc.· Gives guests a tour of the facilities as required· Maintains accurate records of locker availability· Cleans Locker Room when needed· Cleans Oasis Room when needed· Cleans Fitness Center when needed· Cleans and tidies all other areas of the spa, when needed to ensure a clean environment for all guests and team members· Explains spa services to guests· Answers questions on spa retail products· Calls guest prior to appointment to confirm date and time of service· Maintains strong knowledge of all spa services, including benefits and uses of each· Uses POS system to ring up retail merchandise· Assists Operations Coordinator in retail duties· Contacts appropriate party, if necessary, when a guest problem is reported· Answers incoming guests calls and transfers appropriately· Pours beverages for guests when ordered· Provides general resort information for guests· Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Sunriver Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest· Attends appropriate resort and departmental meetings· Resolves guest problems and is empowered to act in absence of manager· Maintains records for all VIPs, special requests, etc.· Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events· Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information· Up sells other resort services and amenities to guests· Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude.· Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment.· Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Sunriver Resort dress code standards.· Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times.Performs other duties as assignedJob Type: Part-timePay: From $17.50 per hourExperience:Customer Service: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
