Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Project Manager for Research – Data and AI Studies to work remotely within our footprint states: AK, CA, MT, OR and/or WA.
We are seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for coordination of assigned research projects and process improvement efforts. The project manager should have strong critical thinking skills for complex problem solving. The individual should be highly organized and a thoughtful communicator with the ability to foster key relationships across functional areas, with experience in clinical implementation and technical work.
The Providence Research Network Hub supports, facilitates, and catalyzes research across the entire Providence network in 9 states. We support established research centers in conducting research and publishing results, and we support physician researchers in independent research projects. We also conduct research of our own, specializing in studies that assess the implementation of cutting-edge technologies in health care settings.
This project manager will be assigned to studies that involve the piloting and evaluation of technical innovations in health care.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Manage clinical trials and research studies, as well as operational projects. This includes setting project requirements, developing milestones, tracking project status, tracking tasks and timelines, and tracking deliverables.
Administer projects by completing tasks including but not limited to preparing and coordinating meetings, conference calls, and webinars, and supporting and coordinating internal and external partners.
Coordinate technical teams in the execution of technical and analytic deliverables
Collaborate with community stakeholders to develop and execute community-based participatory research projects
Collaborate with technical stakeholders to develop and integrate novel patient care tools into clinical workflows
Facilitate development of new processes or modify existing processes to achieve efficiency in support of research projects and researchers.
Assist in process improvement efforts, such as developing and maintaining internal information tracking systems.
Enhance the Research Hub’s collaborations and communications on integrated activities with key stakeholders.
Participate and/or assist in special projects and perform associated administrative duties as assigned. This role may provide functional direction to lower-level staff on assigned work, as applicable.
Provide coordination as needed for other areas of Research Hub purview.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate scientific, or business discipline -OR- 5 years of closely related research and/or grants administrative experience.
5 years Closely related experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s Degree (MBA, MPH, MSA) or 5 years of closely related research and/or grants administrative experience
DEI training or applied equity work
Experience in work that takes place in culturally-specific community-based setting
Experience with MS Office 365
