Job Description : Job Title: Yard DirectorReport To: President, CEODepartment: ManagementClassification: ExemptRate: 70kSupervises Others: YesPosition OverviewProvide leadership of the Yard and Warehouse team by providing excellent services with a commitment to quality, timeliness and customer care.Essential Functions1. Ensure inventory and equipment is pulled and loaded according to pull list.2. Ensure inventory and equipment is returned to proper location after unloading.3. Report inventory and/or equipment shortages as soon as discovered.4. Keep company equipment in proper and safe working order.5. Coordinate labor requirements to meet scheduled deliveries and projects.6. Make sure company vehicles are maintained, safe, clean, and fueled.7. Coordinate pick-ups and returns of sub-rentals.8. Coordinate the building and fabricating of staging equipment, as needed.9. Keep yard and buildings safe, maintained, and clean.10. Maintain a running inventory of equipment.11. Maintain the tool tracking system.12. Coordinate the purchasing of yard and field expendables.Job Requirements/Skills1. Adherence to the safety policies and procedures of the company.2. Maintain a positive and supportive attitude in a fast-paced environment.3. Team player who treats co-workers, vendors, and customers with respect.4. Competency in Excel and Word computer programs.5. Available to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.6. Strong oral and written communication.7. Ability to delegate tasks to subordinates.Education/Experience1. Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 or more years of warehousing/yard experience.2. Prior staging/rigging experience a plus.Physical Requirements1. Requires lifting or lowering, pushing, or pulling of weights up to 80 lbs.2. Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, and depth perception.3. Must be able to pass a drug screening.4. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.Work Environment1. Storage yard with outside weather conditions.2. Non-heated warehouse.3. Climate controlled office.4.
