Position : Accounting Clerk

Job Description : Summary: This part-time position will likely work 18-20 hours per week and may have some flexibility in the number of days worked and the length of shifts. Workdays with be during the week – no weekends. The majority of the time will relate to cash-based duties such as: picking up cash drops, processing drops and distributing receipts accordingly. Prepare the cash deposits and take them to the bank. Maintain the cash spreadsheet and provide change as needed.
Qualifications:
Some cash handling experience in a business setting.
Some experience working with Excel.
General knowledge of office equipment.
The willingness and ability to comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations, as well as the regulations established by the company itself.
Able to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with co-workers.
Have the ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information, whether it’s information for the company or for individuals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED, some college preferred.
1-2 years of related experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Have good hearing/vision
The physical ability to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. regularly.

The majority of time is spent in a climate controlled office setting.
Occasional exposure to noise level over 110db (race cars, track blowers, car blowers) and fuel smell/liquid when near the refueling/starting cars
