The position is located at our Henderson, NV Manufacturing Facility.
Administrative Assistant

Summary:
This position will report to the Plant Director. The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Plant Director, Human Resources and designated departments, with a high degree of integrity, tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
Responsible for clerical functions within the office and maintaining rapport with customers, managers, and employees by arranging continuing contact, setting meetings, and assisting in the resolution of problem solving and data gathering.
Maintains administrative workflow by studying methods; identifying irregularities and suggesting and helping to implement cost reductions and/or efficiencies within scope of position.
Composes memos, emails, invoices, reports and presentations for designated departments and ensures and/or facilitates the timely distribution of information – via email, telephone, mail and/or in person.
Coordinate scheduling meetings, conference calls, and travel for Leadership Team and outside visitors.
Develops presentation materials, graphs, charts, etc. as needed for Leadership Team and designated departments.
Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
Arranges, participates in, and implements, as directed, conference and committee meetings as well as coordinating and aiding in the preparation of meetings and onboarding.
Organize and coordinate plant events (lunches, celebrations, etc.).
Oversee facility vendors such as cleaning contractor, cafeteria food and supplies, uniform program.
Maintain office supply inventory and miscellaneous ordering duties.
Prioritize work assignments with flexibility to quickly adapt to rapidly changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsible for all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree a plus
3 – 5 years’ experience as an administrative assistant
Strong typing and computer skills
Proficiency with MS Office
Sound judgement and decision-making skills
High degree of integrity, accountability and respect for maintaining confidential information.
Ability to build strong relationships with internal team
Excellent communication (written and verbal) abilities
Ability to multitask while taking direction from multiple managers
Ability to learn and anticipate future needs and proactively address those needs.
