PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Based at our Las Vegas Corporate Office the Application Support Manager is an important part of enabling Capriotti’s meteoric growth. With a 30% growth planned for 2022, Capriotti’s is expanding the IT Department to include a second Application Support Manager.
The POS tech stack is the backbone of both Capriotti’s and Wing Zone, enabling all sales transactions, measurement, and operations both in the shop and online. This position is responsible for managing the complex NCR/Olo ecosystem that operates systemwide and in each shop. A deep understanding of Olo and NCR/Aloha technology is vital for the success of this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure Olo, NCR, NBO and the entire Capriotti’s and Wing Zone tech stack is guest ready prior to the openings of new shops
Manage shop pricing and menu database updates for existing and new shops including four scheduled systemwide updates per year
Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for both Capriotti’s and Wing Zone shops encountering issues with the shop NCR/Olo focused technology stack
Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution of trouble tickets
Create and administer end-user accounts and group permissions · Installs new software for business applications
Administers and maintains parts of NCR Back Office (NBO) and Aloha Configuration Center
Assists with system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems
Assist in creating and updating IT Documentation
Troubleshoot issues with network and telecommunication devices
For all incidents and requests that cannot be immediately resolved, provides a timely and effective communication between users, support teams and service providers; ensuring that priority setting, and escalation are considered
Work on and assist with IT projects
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
Respond to telephone calls, email and personal requests for technical support
Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

A deep understanding of Olo and NCR/Aloha technology is vital for the success of this role
Experience with administering and maintaining NCR Back Office (NBO) inventory system and Aloha Configuration Center in a retail or restaurant POS environment
2 years prior Helpdesk Support experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop OS (Windows 7, 8, and 10) · Working knowledge of Microsoft Server OS (2008/2012)
Basic working knowledge of Apple products and operating systems and software
A solid understanding of network infrastructure concepts and topology
Demonstrate an even, supportive and highly professional temperament; must be comfortable supporting users at all levels of the organization
Demonstrate diligence and tenacity to solve problems and resolve issues for users
Have excellent communication skills – clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner and provide one-on-one end-user training as needed
The ability to troubleshoot, track, document, and potentially escalate issues to the appropriate resource is required
Prior restaurant experience a plus
Provide remote technical support to restaurants and offices and be willing and able to travel to these sites if necessary, to resolve issues
Tenacity, a positive attitude, flexibility, a willingness to learn and have fun
Exposure to Franchise System and customer service supporting Franchise Owners/Shop Managers
Understand SQL
Passion for and experience in project and process management
Associates Degree in Information Technology or other computer related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

REQUIRED WORKING CONDITIONS
· Ability to remotely work at home, in the office or on-site at shops
· Car transportation to visit shops as required to provide support
· Ability to wear a mask for long time periods
· High-speed internet at home
· Ability to climb ladders, carry and install equipment
