Job Description : Position overview:
Assists the Box Office Manager in managing daily entertainment operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; evaluating and monitoring performance; rewarding, motivating, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Responsible for VIP, Producer, and Executive ticketing at the direction of the Box Office Manager.
Responsible for seat inventory management as directed by the Box Office Manager.
Oversee submissions and work directly with Event Creation team for the building and accuracy of the events in the ticketing system.
Ensure smooth and efficient ticketing operations.
Maintains optimal staffing levels and scheduling
Provide work direction, coaching and motivation to employees.
Responsible for all Box Office locations, theater operations, and all Box Office personnel in absence of the Box Office Manager.
Acts as liaison between box office and accounting departments in balancing daily work and researching all box office credit card charge back’s.
Review guest complaints and take appropriate action for resolution
Supervision and training of Box Office Supervisors, Box Office Leads, and Box Office Ticket Sellers.
70/30- 70% office work and 30% floor time evaluating employee performance, guest services and sales initiatives.
Manages business levels from the floor to ensure optimal revenue and cost containment measures
Assisting the manager and division in creating revenue opportunities to include support of third part channel initiatives sales at the box office (EBG sales, Street Team and more).
Creating and implementing agent and leadership training to set standards to support SOPS
Responsible for assisting in creating goals, accountability and measuring results sales goal
Developing agents into a salesforce to increase revenues across multiple streams of business.
Continued growth on systems that support the guest journey, employee engagement and cost containment methods.
Leads development and implementation of departmental policies and special projects.
Accuracy in all job-related duties.
Approval of Ticket Seller schedules and PTO requests.
Familiar with HR and Compliance policies and procedures.
Knowledgeable/adept at ticketing system and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
In absence of the Box Office Manager, the Assistant Box Office Manager will assume Box Office Manager Duties.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities will include:

Ensure smooth and efficient ticketing operations.
Maintains optimal staffing levels and work environment.
Evaluates business and staffing levels
Provide work direction and motivation to employees.

Performing other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma.
Three to five years ticketing and box office experience.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
Extensive customer service required.
Must have computer experience with both ticketing software, Windows applications and Excel
Ticket Master software experience preferred.
