SpineNevada is seeking an experienced medical biller to join our growing healthcare team. This position is responsible for the internal processing of all data entry and related functions to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections for SpineNevada’s multi-disciplinary practice.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely billing and collections under the direction of the Director of Finance. Activity would include internal processing of all data entry and related functions. Minimum of 4 years billing experience is preferred. Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the internal processing of all data entry and related functions to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections for SpineNevada’s multi-disciplinary practice.

Responsibilities:

2 years of multi-specialty work experience preferred
Knowledge of health-care insurance and billing experience with neurosurgery, physical medicine and radiology is preferred. This position relies on your experience and judgement to plan and accomplish your daily and monthly goals.
The desired candidate will possess the ability to effectively process error free data entry.
Demonstrates the ability to prioritize, multitask and be able to organize duties.
Possess the ability to identify problems and find solutions.
The desired candidate will follow directions and carry out projects independently.
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality is essential.
Exhibits excellent attention to detail skills.
Maintains effective communication within department and with patients helping to insure department efficiency.
Exhibits mastery of effectively processing error free data entry
Demonstrates actions of a team player – assist peers with projects and work load, provide vacation coverage for peers, and offer overall support when appropriate.
