Job Description : We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
Bookkeeper – Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Receive and process invoices and billing statements
2. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner
3. Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct account, date, and ledger
4. Track payments and ensure accuracy of paid accounts
5. Contact clients and vendors as necessary to ensure accurate and on-time payments
6. Reconcile credit card statement and gather all required supporting documentation
7. Assist in preparing the year end file to ensure all information is ready and available
8. Maintain accurate records for all transactions
Requirements
– Completed or working towards Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
– Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
– Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure processes run smoothly.
– Preferred knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel.
– Good communication and analytical skills.
– Strongly detail-oriented with a heavy focus on maintaining accuracy and integrity of accounts
Pay & Benefits
– Full-time, Monday through Friday
– Salary starting at $45,000, depends on experience
