Position : Boutique Food and Sundries Store Manager

Job Description : Manage inventory control; purchasing, stocking, pricing, sales monitoring. This will be supported and supervised by property manager.Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to the staff.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer serviceComplete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and proceduresMaintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standardsReport on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)Plan and prepare work schedules and assign employees specific duties.Formulate pricing policies on merchandise according to requirements for profitability of store operations.Coordinate sales promotion activities and prepare or direct workers preparing merchandise displays.Supervise employees engages in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records or preparing daily records of transactions for accounting.Orders merchandise or prepares requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand.Ensure compliance of employees with established security, sales and record keeping procedures and practices.Receive and verify shipments Work with cash receiving payments from customers by cash, check or credit card and make change. Operate computerized cash register system to process sales data. Close out and balance cash drawers at end of shift. Stock shelves, counters or tables with merchandise. Set up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales. Stamps, marks or tags price on merchandise. Answers customers’ questions concerning price and use of merchandise. Wraps and bags merchandise for customers. Cleans shelves, counters or tables. Keeps record of sales, prepares inventory of stock and orders merchandise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
