Job Description : We are a local metal fabrication construction company seeking a CAD Designer with the following skills: drafting, preparing drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, blueprints and sketches. Utilizes computer aided drafting software and other techniques, standards, and tools to prepare technical drawings. The CAD designer will coordinate and consult with engineers and or designers to complete projects. Transforms initial rough product designs into working documents using Inventor & AutoCAD. Additionally, the CAD Designer reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs. We work on commercial projects, multifamily subdivisions and custom homes. The types of diagrams you will be creating are typically for metal railing, pergolas, structural steel, production pieces and miscellaneous decorative items. This position requires accuracy, triple checking your work and attention to detail. We look forward to hearing from you.

Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
