Job Description : Sierra Nevada Job Corps offers young adults vocational training in a variety of trades. Our campus provides outstanding recreational opportunities, well-equipped learning labs and individualized, self-paced vocational and academic programs including high school diploma and GED programs. Job Corps is the most successful job training program of its kind. Every year, thousands of Job Corps graduates enter the workforce armed with skills in trades and the desire to succeed. STARTS: $15.25 Bonus Check – After 60 days you will receive $500.00 minus taxes Job Duties: Keep serving counters stocked with salads, desserts and other foods. Replenish napkin dispensers, plate racks, silverware racks, salt and pepper shakers and condiments. Set up cafeteria lines and serve meals on the line. Assist in the storage and inventory of supplies; transfer food ingredients from storage area to cooking area. Clean food service area, tables and kitchen equipment and appliances. Assist in washing dishes/utensils; store in orderly fashion. Provide direct supervision and serve as work place mentor to students assigned to center support and/or on-center work-based learning. Minimum Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
