Job Description : Role: Central Sterile Technician

Location: Reno, NV

Contract: 13 weeks with possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $30/hr

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri

Shift: 7am-3:30pm

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Central Sterile Technician is responsible for decontamination, preparation, sterilization of C/S trays, instruments, equipment, inventory and restocking of supplies, computer data entry and daily equipment rounds throughout the hospital.

Education, Experience, Training

Qualifications

Medical Terminology desirable.
Minimum 6 months acute patient care facility preferred.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to read, comprehend and communicate effectively in writing.
Skills to maintain active communications with surgical staff.
Central Supply Certified preferred.
At least 2 years experience as a Central Sterile Technician in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
