Job Description : As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will juggle multiple responsibilities to execute the finer details of our complex business. Your accommodating personality and ability to balance the needs of several parties will be a welcome support, fundamental to the smooth, seamless functioning of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

Conduct inventories for the Onsite Warehouse, Offsite Warehouse, Retail Inventories, and/or Wine Warehouse to verify counts, product specifications, and stock locations.
Ensure accurate inventory by completing physical cycle counts, printing variance reports, and reviewing for recount verification.
Responsible for the initial research and reconciliation processes of all resulting inventory variances.
Assist warehouse in accuracy of product and quantity on warehouse requisitions.
Maintain log of inventory issue documents, along with the proper documentation of all incorrect pulls, for warehouse tracking purposes.
Responsible for updating warehouse requisitions, inventory returns, transfers between inventories, and cost transfers in a timely manner.
Bring suggestions to management’s attention about product movement in the Warehouse to reduce pulling errors and increase operational efficiencies.
Process and validate receivers to account for product delivered at the receiving dock.
Maintain proper documentation of all incorrect receiving for Warehouse tracking purposes.
Verify receiver prices to vendor invoicing and address any variances outside of the department approved limit with the purchasing team for appropriate resolution.
Separate invoices prior to sending over completed receiving at the end of each day.
Correspond with vendors, Accounts Payable, department personnel, and all other CoStars to address inquiries.
Communicate with management regarding potential operational improvements.
Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental records and reports, along with the filing that correlates with those documents.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

At least two years’ warehouse experience.
Must possess a keen attention to detail.
Polished appearance and demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team.
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules policies, procedures and state & federal regulatory requirements.
At least 21 years of age.

Preferred:

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Stratton Warren Inventory/Purchasing system.
Analytical ability to summarize data for reports and find solutions to various administrative problems.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
Bending and reaching.
Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs.
Eye/hand coordination.
Use of standard office equipment.
Basic math.
Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs.
The ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
Ability to and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
