Job Description : JOB ID: Coding Data Entry Specialist
LOCATION: Northwest
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years
DESIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Transferring charge entries from surgical reports into database system
· Entering charge entries provided from facilities and physicians
· Prepare and distribute PA coding entries for surgeries
· Preparing surgery reports for outside coding team
· Verify charge entries by comparing source documents
· File clinical surgery reports
· Retrieve charge entries from database or electronic files as requested (HCFA’s)
Qualifications and Experience:
· Must have excellent organizational skills
· Proven experience as a data entry clerk
· Typing skills of 40 words per minute
· Knowledge of general office equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
