Job Description : Job Summary:
The Uniformed Customer Service Agent: Driver will provide transportation to hospital employees to and from designated parking locations within the Truckee, California area.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Duties/Responsibilities:

Check shuttle vans for safety and maintenance issues at the beginning and end of each work shift.
Safely drive a hospital shuttle van between parking areas and hospital buildings.
Monitor communication equipment for transportation requests.
Provide the utmost customer service when transporting passengers.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Authoritative verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
Ability to learn the layout of the property and local roadways.
Ability to operate a 12 passenger 4wd shuttle van.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience driving a shuttle van is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at in a vehicle and monitoring communication equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Safe driving record.
