Job Summary
JOB LOCATION: REMOTE-NEVADA
Farmers will provide necessary work from home equipment
This role is responsible for proficiently providing customer service to Farmers Agents, vendors, internal, and external customers.
Resolves inquiries and completes assigned processes in a timely manner.
Understands how the team integrates with others to accomplish team objectives.
Requires a broad understanding of the job and applies skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures and systems or requires deep skills in a single area.
Essential Job Functions
Performs and completes intermediate requests and inquiries from internal and external customers, through various means of communications, including significant time on phone work.
Demonstrates ownership of complex inquiries, utilizes experience and judgment, gathering all necessary information and resolving or directing request to appropriate party for completion.
Directs and leads distribution of work when necessary.
Responsible for performing complex calculations such as such as commissions, deductions, garnishments, collections, manual adjustments, filings, clearing out of balances, etc.
Performs evaluations and completes processes as assigned.
Develops best practices, acting as subject matter expert, mentor, and trainer as assigned.
Participates in the design and improvement of processes, systems and procedures. Stays abreast of and supports changes within the department.
Provides in-depth support to immediate team and within department during periods of high volume workload.
Completes work with a limited degree of supervision and may act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Physical Actions
Besides some sedentary work, job duties require some or all of the following physical activities: Standing, carrying/lifting up to 10 pounds, seeing and hearing, walking, reaching, pushing and pulling, and speaking, reading, and writing.
Physical Environment
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment
Education Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent required. – Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
Proven competency performing Service Advocate essential job function and special skills or relevant experience.
Special Skill Requirement
– Critical Thinking – Advanced conflict resolution skills – Consistently meeting or exceeding performance measurement goals
