Position : Customer Service Team Member
Job Description : Provides outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone.
Serves customers by helping them select products.
Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
Responds to customers’ questions and follows up with management as necessary.
Processing orders, pickups, and deliveries through the point-of-sale system. Process payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit, debit cards, and gift certificates.
Assists with inventory, including receiving fresh flowers and processing for storage in cooler, and receiving and stocking merchandise.
Understands the importance of cleaning and sanitation in the floral shop setting. Tasks include scrubbing buckets, washing vases, lifting up to 35 pounds, cleaning the flower cooler, keeping all surfaces wiped down, taking trash / floral waste to dumpster daily, sweeping and mopping the floors, keeping the bathroom clean.
Friendly attitude and willingness to be a team player are key.
Must be willing to take direction from senior employees, including employees that are younger than you.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.50 per hour
