As part of our Global Security team, you’ll help manage the security needs of Apple’s most valuable assets: our people, properties and innovations. Join us and you’ll play a significant role in preserving the highest standard of security for one of the most watched companies in the world. Apple’s Global Security team is looking for a Data Site Security Manager to work directly with business units, vendors, and facilities teams to provide security services. Your work will help build solutions to a variety of unique security challenges, ranging from the physical security of sites and events, to the protection of our supply chain. You’ll develop solutions to support our physical security capabilities, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our operation, and coordinate critical incidents affecting Apple.

Key Qualifications

5+ years of corporate site security or program management experience preferred, global experience is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to react to changes in a time critical environment to meet security needs and quickly evaluate situations
Experience managing, coordinating and maintaining multiple projects
Ability to think quickly and perform problem-solving tasks within dynamic conditions
Demonstrate excellent communication with a strong attention to detail and courage to take initiative and drive projects to completion
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
Strong organizational skills
Experience crafting Keynotes and presenting to senior management
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
Travel 10 – 25% of the time, with on-call responsibilities

Description

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert (SME) ensuring a site remains secure, assess security risks, develop internal controls for privacy, incident prevention or proprietary information theft and ensure that employees are safe. In addition, the duties include but are not limited to: Work with leaders from the business groups who request security services to ensure each assignment and the scope of work are well planned, executed and confidential Perform security audits and assessments, review procedures and constantly evaluate facility activity/operations for security weaknesses that may reduce the facilities overall security posture Establish relationships with law enforcement, government agencies, EHS, facilities and outside vendors Manage daily security operations including the contract security guarding deployment Develop an in-depth understanding of Apple’s businesses and needs Build, implement and maintain site or project specific security procedures and plans Prepare and maintain security records for the site and complete routine statistical reports. Prepare operations orders as they relate to special events at the site Field security requests for short-term and non-recurring assignments Lead all aspects of a security budget, develop cost savers and resource planning Assist on other GS projects as requested
