Job Description : Position Summary
The dispensary Cashier will play a key role in creating exceptional experiences for retail guests. The Cashier will be responsible for welcoming guests into the store, answering questions, ringing out orders and ensuring the flow of guests are met with a sense of urgency.
Essential Functions
Must be a Brand Ambassador for Exhale Brands Nevada by:

Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of all Exhale Brands Nevada products.
Representing Exhale Brands Nevada positively and professionally in every interaction at work, outside of work and on social media.

Cashier Standards and Expectations:

Greet and welcome guests into the store
Smile, make eye contact and engage the guest with a warm greeting.
Ask the guest if he/she has shopped with Exhale before.
Advise the guest of possible wait time as needed or introduce the guest to a Budtender
Answer all guest questions and/or seek the assistance of a Manager or Lead when needed.
Accurate cash handling skills while moving with a sense of urgency
Maintain the confidentiality of all guest information as well as proprietary company information related to product development, financial information and personnel.
Responsible for retail product knowledge so as to assist customers in making appropriate choices.

Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift, as well as customer service including:

Store organization and cleanliness
Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
Report employee issue or customer situations.
Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure successful retail operations including: daily activities, maintenance, was well as patient information for any reported issues and/or customer complaints.
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and following Exhale Brands Nevada’s established policies for sales and customer service.
Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications

Knowledge and consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures and goals of Exhale Brands Nevada.
Ability to listen well and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with various audiences.
Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, data base management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail.
Ability to work effectively with employees, management, customers, other governmental agencies, community members and the general public.
Understanding of applicable federal state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.

Additional Requirements

Driver’s license or State ID card
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must pass any and all required background checks
Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Must be approved by the State to receive the required Marijuana Agent Badge

Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous retail or dispensary experience preferred
Previous guest service experience required
Previous cash handling experience required
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience
