The Event Coordinator reports directly to the Event Manager. The Event Coordinator is responsible for overseeing particular tasks throughout the event planning process. Their duties include responding to all incoming leads, helping with event set-up, running errands for supplies and decorations and working with staff to ensure the completion of a successful event.

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting the Event Manager & Reservations Team
Respond to incoming phone inquiries for events, group, and local corporate volume business
Responds to all incoming leads via phone, Tripleseat, email and SevenRooms
Manages all large party, partial or full buyout, in SevenRooms
Supports events team in greeting clients and connecting them with onsite event management
Creates events menus & signage and ensures event checklists are complete
Assists in conducting site visits
Maintain filing system for sales, events, convention services, marketing, and department vendors

Qualifications

Exhibit strong multitasking abilities
Posses a diligent work ethic
Maintain a clean and professional appearance
Display the ability to forecast and anticipate the needs of our guests and the restaurant
A minimum of 1 year experience in the restaurant industry or a coordinator position
Available to work nights, weekends and holidays
