We seek an EVS Aide PRN for our center to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high-quality, efficient care. The EVS Aide performs under direct supervision while demonstrating exceptional customer service to everyone, performs daily cleaning tasks for patient rooms, nursing station, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Linen Services Department and in accordance with Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center standards. This position encompasses a variety of duties that may include but not limited to:

Cleaning of patient rooms and common areas, to include isolation, discharge, and daily cleans.
Floorcare, to include floor cleaning, buffing, stripping, and re-coating.
Trash (both general and bio-hazardous) handling and transport.
Cleaning of entrances, to include inside window cleaning.
The moving of empty patient beds, cribs and/or gurneys to area of need or for repair.
Will be required to rotate job duties and duty area as needs of the department or hospital dictate.
Must function as a team member to achieve the primary goal of a clean, safe and orderly facility.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

Six (6) months-housekeeping experience in a health-related facility is preferred.
