Greater Nevada Credit Union is looking for a dynamic professional with a passion for Helping More People Live Greater!

About The Position:

The Executive Assistant is primarily responsible for providing executive administrative support to individuals in assigned managerial and volunteer positions. This includes exercising independent judgment in matters related to the business in the absence of the managerial personnel supported.

What You’ll Be Doing

Effectively demonstrate our passion and purpose as a non-profit organization by “Helping More People Live Greater.”
Provide primary administrative support to the individuals assigned including, but not limited to, schedule management, meeting and event planning, travel coordination, telephone and mail assistance, minute taking and transcription, official file organization and maintenance, information gathering and publication, written communication and proofreading, reporting, and corporate expense management.
Interface with official volunteers (Directors and other committee members) to enhance their working relationships with the managerial employees they typically interact with.
Enhance the public image of Greater Nevada and the individuals you support as a result of interactions with current and prospective business partners, members, public policy makers and the general public.
Provide back up support to other administrative personnel as assigned.
Obtain and maintain a Notary Public commission.

Skills & Competencies

Work independently to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time to meet deadlines, analyze requests, understand issues and develop appropriate solutions
Possess ability to effectively identify, analyze and solve problems
Possess knowledge and maintain up-to-date information related to procedures and reporting guidelines
Communicate clearly and concisely via an appropriate level of verbal, written, and presentation skills. Also possess the ability to read, comprehend and explain applicable documentation
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail for all job functions
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Exercise time management in all areas, including gathering information and processing documentation
Apply organizational and administrative skills in support of the Executive Management Team (EMT) and official volunteers

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit/stand and use a keyboard, mouse, phone, and multiple monitors for an extended period (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.).
