Position : Experienced Veterinary Assistant

Job Description : We are looking for an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to help care for animals and support Veterinarians. You’ll play an important role in bringing comfort to our furry patients and ensuring the smooth running of our facility. One of the most important Veterinary Assistant responsibilities is to ensure the Veterinarian has assistance with the patients in examinations and operations. Experience with exam rooms with obtaining medical background on patients, assisting with exams, and treatments is a plus. Other job duties include client communication and patient follow up to ensure quality care and experience. This is a full time position and Duties will include:

Maintaining medical records.
Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.
Filling prescriptions.
Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
Able to lift up to 45lbs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
