Job Description : General Farm Hand ___________________________________________________________________Torgerson’s Farm Partnership is a farming operation located in Ethridge Montana. We are looking to add to our current staff. If you enjoy quiet living with great hunting, fishing and little traffic, join us in our slice of paradise in Montana!About the Position: We are currently in need of an experienced Farm Hand who can hit the ground running. We need someone with a strong work ethic who is motivated and has a love of farming! We offer a competitive salary with housing and dinner provided. This position is a 40 hour a week temporary / seasonal position. Must be willing to work weekends as needed and have a hands-on approach in working with farming and equipment.Responsibilities and Duties: Maintenance of farm structures and equipmentGeneral farm upkeep as assignedPlanting Crops with soil preparationSpraying the crops to promote best growth and eliminate diseases and pestsQualifications and Skills: Minimum of one year farm hand experience preferred but will train the right personVerbal and written communication skills required Ability to listenAbility to problem – solveCritical thinking skillsAbility to pass a background check and drug test requiredAbility to operate farming machinery is a plus.Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.Must be able to bend, kneel, sit and lift.Good attitude and a positive contributor to our service team requiredJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryPay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hourAbility to commute/relocate:Ethridge, MT 59435: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
