OverviewEstablished and welcoming, The Club at ArrowCreek is quickly becoming Reno’s premier private golf and country club. Reno’s only private 36-hole Club, we are completing a three-year and $60M+ renovation, bringing accolades and new members from all across the country. The Club boasts a vast array of activities and facilities including two beautifully designed golf courses with spectacular views of the valley below, brand new fitness facilities, two contemporary swimming pools with 6 cabanas, multiple new dining venues to host a variety of social events. Located in Southwest Reno, the Club is only minutes away from high end shopping, world class entertainment and luxury real estate.
General Purpose: Make a difference every day while building an exciting career in fitness and customer service! We expect you to contribute to our Member’s experience in our facility and get to know them all on a personal level. Passion/excitement for health and wellness is a given and you are expected to lead our Members through your example.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Attendant and Administrative Duties

Make our fitness center easy to use by guiding and educating Members and Guests on how to properly use equipment and programs that are available
Follow up with potential leads to enroll Members in classes, training, or other programs
Encourage long-term participation
Store all equipment neatly and appropriately. Report any equipment or safety issues to the supervisor.
Perform cleaning duties, such as sanitizing equipment and wiping commonly used surfaces
Properly charge Members and Guests for classes attended.
Secure substitutes for assigned shifts that cannot be worked.
Promote special events and other classes/services offered at the gym.

Qualifications:

Understand the principles of physical fitness and proper exercise technique, training provided
High School Diploma or GED
CPR/AED, may be obtained within 6 weeks of employment

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud
Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends and holidays as needed to support the business
