Job Description : $2500 Sign on Bonus
$1000 Referral Based Bonus
Paid Training and CDL Reimbursement (Non CDL Holders)
Day 1 Benefits
Duties

Ensure safe on-road operations while maintaining on-time performance
Familiarity with assigned routing and detours.
Awareness of ADA Policies and Procedures.
Understanding of ADA compliance.
Proper operation of all wheelchair lifts, for each model bus.
Collect the prescribed fares and notify dispatch of any refusal to pay or any other type of fare evasion or fraud.
Providing information to passengers.
Welcome and help passengers.
Effectively communicate with passengers especially in case of service disruptions.
Perform pre and post trip inspections and enter all defects into the ZONAR system.
Follow exact deadhead routing and their assigned revenue service routes.
Depart the start of each route exactly on-time and never operate ahead of schedule.
Report any bunching of buses or other problems that may disrupt scheduled service.
Report immediately to dispatch any vehicular accident or passenger incident and follow the incident and accident reporting procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Must be minimum 21 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license
Non CDL Holders (Class C):

Must be able to obtain a NV CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement permit within 21 calendar days from start date
Must be able to obtain NV CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement license by end of training (6 weeks after start date)

CDL Holders (Class A or B):

Must maintain CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement
Must be able to pass DOT Physical

Must have clean driving record – DMV printout required for the last 3 years
Must have stable work history
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must have positive attitude and enjoy working with the general public
Must be able to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7 operation that may include nights, weekends and holidays.

Work Environment

Frequently works inside coach and might get exposed to extreme, hot and/or cold, weather.
May sit for over 8 hours per day, may operate a vehicle for over 8 hours per day.
May use electronic hand-held device (two way-radio).
Frequently walks to inspect exterior and interior of bus.
May squat and/or bend, may climb stairs (interior of double deck bus).
May be exposed to fumes.

Additional Statements
Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. If applying for a safety sensitive position, it may require a physical examination.
