Job Description : Construction Company Seeking Qualified Individuals
West Coast Paving is a local grading, paving and asphalt maintenance company that has been in business since 2003. We currently offer our qualified employees full health benefits and a 401k with an employer match.
We are currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Flagger to work with paving/grading crews at work sites to direct motorists by flagging them away from worker activities, moving equipment, oncoming traffic and other duties as assigned, to include:
Setting up signs, cones, etc. around work areas to divert traffic
Following all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment (work boots with safety toe, hard hat and safety vest)
Being able to set up and perform flagger position at job site with minimal supervision based on site plan and/or contractor directions
Operating a 2-way radio
Must be able to work well in a team environment, communicate with contractors, and relay specific customer/job changes and other information to Superintendent, Foreman and/or others as necessary
Qualifications:
Must have current Certified Flagger Certificate/Card
Must have OSHA 10 for Construction
