Job Summary
The Supervisor is an entry-level management position responsible for day-to-day supervision of non-management team members, assigning specified work, focusing on store level operation performance, coaching and developing Shift Leaders and other non-management team members and performing all other responsibilities as directed by their manager. This position provides an opportunity for entry-level managers to learn important management skills and practice judgment and discretion skills. This position reports to the F&B Multi Operations Manager.
Essential Functions
· Supervises the day-to-day activities of multiple non-exempt operations team members within a defined individual or group of restaurants, concepts or stores
· Assigns work tasks and activities, prepares schedules, and ensures that all shifts are covered
· Prepares daily orders, ensures units are stocked with appropriate levels of product and coaches Shift Leaders on order procedures
· Provides input and recommendations for hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other status change of associates within the store
· Consistently provides direct reports and/or indirect reports with support, coaching and encouragement necessary to achieve business goals
· Utilizes associate’s strengths and provides ongoing feedback that reflects on progress against individual development goals and business goals
· Develops and implements plans that will motivate and recognize direct reports and/or indirect reports for their performance.
· Conducts and coordinates on-the-job training for team members, and ensures all team members receive basic skills training to perform their jobs
· Greets customers and takes food order; provides information about menus; looks for opportunity to “up-sell” products.
· Operates cash register and receives payment from customer in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to customers as required, and follows all company customer service and cash handling policies and procedures
· Cleans and stocks work area
· Assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying the accuracy of transactions and operate equipment with peripheral electronic data processing. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
· Assists with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed
· Receives inventory, moves and lifts food and beverage products and supplies; maintain a solid knowledge of product and services available in unit
· Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
Requirements

Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
Requires the ability to lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs
Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
Cash handling and customer service experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,919.00 – $53,000.00 per year

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
