Position : Fork lift Operator Warehouse

Job Description : JOB SUMMARY: Select the correct material from the Finished Goods Inventory, deliver the material to loading dock, verify material to pick list and inspect for damage (repair if necessary). Handle special projects through completion.
This position is currently Sun-Thur 7am -3:30pm with overtime. The starting rate is $21 an hour, we also have a shift differential from 3:00pm to 7:00pm that is an additional $1.00 and from 7:00pm to 7:00am is $2.00 additional an hour.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Correctly pulls and stages orders according to picks
Drives fork truck carefully and safely and report all incidents immediately
Delivers material to internal departments
Moves bar-coded racks and bar-coded boxes from the bar-code office to their locations and enters them into the computer inventory using our bar-code equipment
Utilizes barcode gun to correctly record inventory
Runs PD1 report to make sure all racks are located
Responsible to keep warehouse organized
Responsible to have drafts for every order loaded
Spot checks bar-code locations
Responsible for unloading and loading of trucks
Other duties as assigned

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Certified Fork Truck Operator License

Organizational Relationship:

Reports to Shift Supervisor

Physical Demands:

Must be able to move objects up to 50 pounds
Ability to ascending or descending ladders and stairs and the like
Ability to stand, sit, walk, push, pull for extended periods of time, occasionally kneeling and bending
