FUNCTION: Under the direction of the yard foreman, the forklift operator is primarily responsible for loading and unloading block products.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
Visualize and implement the Clyde Companies, Inc. vision and core values
Safely and efficiently operates forklift
Build loads in an efficient and safe manner
Safely load company and customer’s vehicles
Ensure order paperwork matches product in outgoing load
Stock and maintain yard inventory
Answer customers’ questions about block products
Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Exceptional customer service.
Safety conscious and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to operate forklift and obtain certification.
Available for Saturday work when required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able lift 50-75 pounds.
