Job Description : The FSP Driver position requires the ability to safely work in a fast-paced and ever changing environment. Customer Service skills are valuable as well as the ability to operate in high hazard situations. The primary function of this program is to provide a free service to the public to mitigate a wide variety of roadway incidents which can be mitigated within 15 minutes including disabled vehicles, accidents scenes, lost motorists, sick or injured motorists, pedestrian on roadway, animals on roadway, travel lane or shoulder debris, vehicle fires, fuel leaks, or any other incidents that could be mitigated quickly. Provide support to First Responders. Our goal is to please our customers while operating in a cost effective manner. FSP personnel will not accept any, or solicit gratuities or favors of any sort, nor will they recommend a specific towing company, auto repair shop, or body shop business.
All drivers must: **

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid Nevada Driver’s License.
Have no moving violations recorded within the past three years.
Successfully pass the background investigation.
Have the ability to work independently following established guidelines.
Have the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Please bring in a three year Motor Vehicle Print out with you from the DMV.
Freeway Service Patrol Drivers are needed to patrol highways in Las Vegas. This position is responsible for offering assistance to stranded motorists, with minor vehicle repairs and/or emergency medical services while adhering to dedicated routes. Duties also include cleanup of scene debris, removal of misc. roadway debris, and assisting Highway Patrol as needed.
Candidates should be willing to drive entire shift with minimal exceptions. Clean driving record is required. Will train.
