Department Description:
Joining the Cowabunga Bay Front Gate team is the ultimate summer season pass! What better than gaining real-world work experience, developing skills applicable in the workforce, and making new friends along the way? The Front Gate department is the first impression of Cowabunga Bay to our Guests. The Front Gate Department greets and welcomes Guests in a courteous, proper, and efficient manner. This department is responsible for but not limited to operating cash registers, selling admission tickets, monitoring turnstiles for entry, processing any type of Guest orders or tickets, monitoring controlled exit, and re-entry into the waterpark, assisting in Guest bag checks, keeping accurate record of Guest attendance, parking lot duties, and handling Guest concerns. Department Qualifications:

Operates and balances a cash register in an honest, organized, efficient manner, that abides by Cowabunga Bay guidelines.
Greets and informs Guests of waterpark policies in a courteous and professional manner.
Conduct Guest bag checks and any other security measures enforced by the Front Gate department.
Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing.
Identifies problems and works quickly to find solutions.
Involved in sales of various season passes and ticket types.
Keep their workstation and surrounding areas neat and clean at all times.
Has excellent communication skills which includes the ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language in interactions with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management.
Places wristbands on Guests, process tickets, and directs Guests as they enter and exit the park.
This position may require standing for long periods of time outdoors, exposed to the elements of nature, including but not limited to hot temperatures, direct sunlight, and rain.
Respond to an emergency situation in the area until a supervisor arrives.
This position may require working in the parking lot directing and assisting with Guest parking, unloading vehicles, and getting to the Front Gate.
This position may require you to work in other positions, locations, and/or departments on an ad-hoc basis.
Complete any and all tasks given by Cowabunga Bay management.

General Qualifications:

May be required to stand for long periods of time.
May be required to lift at least 20-50 lbs.
May be required to be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rain.
Must be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-pace environment.
Must be able to work well with others.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Must be goal oriented and driven.
Must follow any and all Cowabunga Bay guidelines or policies.
