Position : Full-time Medical Scheduler
Job Description : Montana Gastroenterology is seeking a dynamic full-time Medical Scheduler in our very busy Gastroenterology center to perform a variety of clerical tasks.
The Essential Duties for this position are:
Serves as telephone operator for facility; routes incoming calls correctly and takes accurate messages when unable to connect caller to requested party
Schedules for multiple providers in the Clinic and Endoscopy Center
Creates patient electronic and/or paper chart prior to scheduled visit
Loads demographic information into practice management software; prints out all necessary labels, forms, etc., assembles paper charts as needed
Maintains electronic patient chart by accessing and uploading historical patient visits and treatment
Contacts patients as needed confirming appointment times and answering nonclinical questions
Performs other miscellaneous office/clerical duties as needed
The Qualified candidate should possess, all candidates will be considered:
High level customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication
Positive attitude
Telephone skills
1-2 years’ experience as a Medical Receptionist or call center preferred
Microsoft experience preferred but not required
Organizational skills
Time management skills
Dependable
