Job Overview:

Performs tasks that require mainly physical abilities and effort. Assists Journeymen in work assignments that involve little or no specialized skills, prior work experience or specialized training in a journeyman occupational trade or craft.

Hourly wage is $24.09 This is only open internally to DBSI site union employees through 03/22/2022.
Responsibilities:

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Loads and unloads trucks and other conveyances. Moves supplies and materials to proper location using a wheelbarrow and/or hand truck.
Stacks material for storage. Collects refuse and salvageable materials.
Digs, fills, and tamps earth excavations. Level’s ground using pick, shovel, tamper, and rake. Shovel’s concrete, cleans ditches, moves, and arranges heavy office and household furniture, machinery, and equipment.
Occasionally paints or touches up structures or equipment. Uses mechanical hand tools.
Cleans workshop areas and worksites, including sweeping, washing & mopping.
Performs all work-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

Mandatory:

Possess a valid State Driver’s License.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Must be able to comprehend, read, speak, and write proficiently in the English language.
Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations.
Capable of passing a background check and maintaining a Base Access and Common Access Card (CAC).
