Job Description : SUMMARYDirects and coordinates all activities of the facility by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manages the manufacturing and warehouse operations to meet inventory turnover, quality and labor productivity goals.
Manages the order fulfillment process to ensure customer service level goals are achieved.Develops and recommends methods for picking, packing and shipping customer orders to achieve higher accuracy, faster service and better labor productivity.
Acts as principle liaison with regulatory agencies. Manages the safety program for the facility to achieve a safe work environment. Oversees security activities to ensure a safe and secure work facility. Responsible for the management of effective NNFA GMP and Organic CertificationPrograms.
Directs all activities in the office to ensure that customer service levels are met and to facilitate positive employee relations.
Oversees the physical plant and location. Ensures that the facility is maintained and in good condition at all times. Develops and maintains a preventive maintenance program and an effective pest control program.
Analyzes and documents systems process flow and develops better solutions to achieve process achievement, increased labor efficiency and expense reductions. Develops written procedures to document processes and to assist in employee training.
Complies with safety and GMP requirements.
SAFETY STATEMENT RESPONSIBILITY Supports a culture of safe production and operations; follows all workplace health and safety procedures.Responsible for safety performance in respective area. Ensures the implementation of, adherence to, and enforcement of workplace health and safety requirements. Ensures activities are completed to promote and enforce safe behaviors by supervisors and employees. Ensures injury prevention efforts are effectively implemented. Fulfills responsibilities as outlined in the company safety management plan.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESIs responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all department personnel. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of four years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior management experience in a food-related industry required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Prior ERP experience is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must have excellent communication skills and relate well to people.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to do basic math functions such as add, subtract, multiply and divide as well as figure percentages.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Excellent leadership skills are required. Must have excellent written, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Ability to effectively multi-task and strong organizational skills are required.

Pay: $150,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
