Job Description : Player Services Job Description
Job Title: Player Services Department: Golf Operations
Reports To: Player Services Manager & Head Golf Professional
Primary Purpose –
Provides optimal customer service to Member and Guests. Attempts to anticipate and fulfill customer needs in a variety of responsibilities as assigned; which may include (but not limited to) work in Bag Room, Cart Barn, and/or Valet.
Essential Functions –
1. Treats all members, guests, and employees with respect. Maintains friendly appearance; greets Members and Guests by name with a smile.
2. Ensures clothing is clean, and in good condition. With overall attire and appearance meets dress code guidelines.
3. Maintains cleanliness of work area(s): Cart Barn, Bag Room, Staging Area, Valet Booth
4. Keeps Supervisor(s) promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
5. Practice Range – Sample tasks include:

Set stations with balls as described in the Operations Manual.
Attend range throughout the day maintaining cleanliness.
Pick up and break down range.
Pick golf balls from range via Picker Cart and/or hand-held Shag Bags

6. Bag Room – Sample tasks include:

Stage Fleeter Carts and Member’s Personal Carts to Las Vegas Country Club standards
Maintain Staging Area cleanliness and set-up
Cleans golf clubs, receive members and guests after their rounds
Cleans and maintains all types of golf carts (Personal Member and Fleeter)
Brings carts that are done for the day down to Cart Barn for storage

7. Valet – sample tasks include:

Brings customer golf bags to Staging Area.
Parks vehicles in designated valet parking areas and retrieves vehicles on request.
Loads and unloads golf bags in/out of vehicles.

8. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety. Assists in training colleagues in proper safety techniques.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Basic knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures.
Age 18 with a valid Driver’s License.
Ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to operate golf carts.
Present a positive & professional image.
Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable and predictable attendance.
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.

Physical Demands & Work Environment –

Position is at prestigious Country Club, located in a gated residential community within Central Las Vegas.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; while also able to lift overhead and push, pull and/or move light/heavy objects.
The employee will be exposed to various outside weather conditions (not limited to): high temperatures, low temperatures and high gusts of wind.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.75 per hour
