Job Description : Summary: The Graphic Artist will combine artistic skill and technology to produce computer generated artwork in a variety of media. They will apply art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborates with Marketing Director and/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.
Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.
Chooses graphics, clip art, and stock photography, as appropriate; may enhance choices with simple drawings.
Creates various layouts, iconography, package designs, website designs, logos, and illustrations according to client specifications.
Selects fonts for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by client or other project participants.
Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to editorial or other appropriate staff or departments for review.
Participates in collaborative revision and approval process until final design is approved.
Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
Consults with marketing manager and/or other team members as needed on complex or specialized projects.
Prepares print orders and assembly instructions on notification of final approval.
Maintains records of billable project time as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Electronic monitoring and documenting of anything relating to Spring Mountain on the internet. Save and organize all articles and upload them to DropBox.
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge Needed
Extensive knowledge of print, electronic, and graphics media.
Superior artistic and design skills.
Extremely proficient in image editing and digital animation and illustration software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan a project based on interactions with the client and in accordance with the clients requirements.
Excellent time management and planning skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or other similar design software.
Ability to work independently on an assignment.
Able to provide samples of writing for content and understanding.
A working knowledge of PC, Apple and numerous social media sites.
Must understand what it means to keep confidential information confidential.
Able to work independently organizing, planning and prioritizing workload.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred;
Major or significant coursework or experience in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred.
Three years of related experience preferred
Prefer experience managing data with some kind of relatable marketing experience.

Strong clerical and administrative skills preferred.
Prefer experience or knowledge in the automotive field and an understanding of motorsports.
General Physical Demands and Work Environment
Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds unassisted. If the use of arm and/or leg controls required exertion of force greater than that of sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated as light work.
The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data or figures; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
The worker is regularly subject to the noise race and sports cars. For periods of time there are also fuel and oil smells and noise levels over 110 db.
This worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
