Shift times are set, days off can fluctuate, read each shift for more details.
Shift 1: DAYS

Five days per week
Sunday: 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Monday 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Tue: 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Wed/Thur OFF
Fri 7:00 AM to 1:30 pm
Sat 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Some days are quit times of 3:30PM based on business needs, vacation schedules, conventions, etc.
This shift is mainly responsible for a washing clothing, light cleaning, and managing customer service issues. You will wash other people’s clothing 10 to 30 loads per 6 to 8 hour shift. Manage a point-of-sale system which will ring up customers dry cleaning and laundry. Advise customers on how operate self-serve machines. Ask customers to comply with local ordinances regarding wearing a mask. Contact customers via the phone to inform of orders left in the store. This is a face-to-face customer service attendant position. Attention to detail and being able to work in a fast-paced environment keeping pace with the work is a must.

Who you serve: locals from the neighborhood, guests drive from all over town to come here, Strip personalities, Sports Teams, convention attendees, travelers and tourists?
What you will do: greet customers/guests, give instructions on how to operate washers and dryers, advise customers the best service for their garments- dry cleaning, professional laundering or wash n fold, ring up and return dry cleaning garments to customers, advise customers on products and services offered, ring up alterations, wash n fold, and laundry products. Wash laundry for paying Wash N Fold customers, give directions, make recommendations for local attractions, sweep and mop floors, wipe down washers, dryers, and folding tables, make change, tag and prepare garments for pickup by dry cleaning plant, count down your register till, learn to reconcile a register till, resolve customer service issues, answer the phone, smile, laugh, and be kind to your customers to name a few! You will be very active and on your feet for 6 to 8 hours per shift in a 24/7/365 environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Interact with customers to receive/return clothes
– Assist customers with self-service washers and dryers
– Operate a Point-of-Sale system
– Sell various laundry supplies
– Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers.
– Inspect and tag garments
– Wash, dry, and fold customer drop off laundry following proper procedures
– Operate standard washing and drying equipment
– Perform other duties as assigned
– Midnight and/or Midnight Split Shift Attendant’s as ABOVE PLUS+- Clean and detail washers
– Clean dryer lint traps
– Perform other routine cleaning duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications: – Age: 21 years of age or above
– High School diploma or equivalent
– Speak good English (bilingual a plus)
– Valid Driver’s License or State ID and Social Security Card or Valid Work Papers
– Friendly, personably demeanor, and professional appearance
– Basic cash handling and math skills
– Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision
– Able to lift 20-40lbs
– Able to quickly learn about the various garment types and interact with customers to tag garments correctly. Able to locate small stains and areas of damage and tag appropriately.
– Basic knowledge of general laundry cleaning principles, use of laundry products, and operation of standard laundry equipment.
– Able to spend 6.0 to 7.0 hours of an 6.5-8-hour shift standing, walking, crouching, bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Able to climb on top of machines or equipment as needed and use a step stool. The employee must be able to talk and hear.
-Have good manual dexterity to use a hand pinning system to tag garments
– Ability to operate a Point-of-Sale system or desktop computer, non-touch screen system.
– Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.
– Willingness to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
– Previous garment care or cleaning experience a plus and higher pay for experienced Dry Cleaning and Laundry Attendants with verified references.
Compensation:
$16.00 per hour (after training and probation) + tipsTraining pay is $15.00 per hour for two weeksProbationary pay is $15.50 per for 2 to 4 weeks based on ability to perform job tasks accurately without supervision and to show up on time
