Job Description : Job Summary:
The Human Resource Admin will support the Human Resources Department and act as the first point of contact for HR – related queries from employees. The main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides), facility recruiting, and updating internal databases. This position should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to labor laws.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Organize and maintain employee records accurately.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records.
Supports employees by answering questions accurately and thoroughly while conforming to labor laws. For more complex questions, refer to the HR staff and/or facility management.
Recruits staff for the facility. Updates facility, HR and upper-level management on the status of new hires, applicants and recruitment efforts.
Provides clerical support to the HR department.
Responsible for all payroll functions at the facility. Will be the contact for employees regarding payroll questions.
Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Acts as a liaison between employees and external benefit providers and vendors.
Conducts new hire orientation.
Conducts Food Safety and Workplace Safety training during new hire orientation.
Assists with planning and execution of special events.
As soon as HR work is completed, the position will go out on the floor assisting employees as well as making connections with the facility staff.
On a timely basis, will report to the HR Staff any issues, questions, or relays important information to HR management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
Education and Experience:
Associate degree in related field required.
One year of HR experience required.
Physical Demands:

The working environment is subject to pressure for multiple calls, inquiries, and interruptions.
Hearing: perceiving the nature of sound by ear.
Lifting: raising or lowering objects weighing no more than 10 pounds, from one level to another.
Mental Demands: mathematical reasoning, memorization, oral comprehension, spatial orientation, and written comprehension.
Sitting: remaining in the normal seated position.
Stooping: bending the body by bending the spine at the waist.
Talking: expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken words.
Vision Near acuity: ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less
