We Seek A Human Resources Assistant for our Las Vegas, NV Office

Our expansion includes recruiting and hiring Nurses, Case Managers, General office, care givers and more. We have strong systems in place and need the right person who is experienced in Human Resources to enhance the company and department.
The Human Resources Assistant is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year at our Las Vegas, NV office. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Salary rate of $17.00 per hour plus a quarterly bonus plan.
A full benefits package is available after successful completion of a 90-day introductory period. Benefits includes paid time off along with employer subsidized or paid medical, dental, and vision plans.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
It is expected that the incumbent has sound knowledge and experience of human resources functions and procedures.

Provide general information to employees, applicants and the public.
Present oneself and the company in a professional manner over the phone or email regarding human resources department procedures, programs and services; assist with form completion, filing, and review.
Accept and review documents for completeness; answering all inquiries.
Create lists and update files to support departmental responsibilities; create and mail information packets; enter data regarding a variety of employee/candidate information; create and use various computer files.
Using standard office software, compose and/or type memorandum, correspondence, reports, materials, presentations, spreadsheets, forms and other documents as required.
Create, develop, maintain and update specialized and custom forms, databases, logs, files, records and reports; design, develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases requiring data interpretation and manipulation.
Schedule appointments and make other business arrangements; assist with the development and coordination of departmental special events; process meeting and event logistics.

Other Duties

Provide backup and assistance to other departments as needed.
Maintain, order, duplicate and/or distribute a variety of company materials, forms and/or packets.
Maintain schedules both internally and externally regarding company business, employees, users, etc.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Experience
Require at least one (1) year experience in a Human Resources position. 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred.

Basic human resource policies, procedures and practices related to the administration of the department, policies/procedures, programs and related functions.
Principles, practices, concepts and techniques used in a professional Human Resources position.
Modern office practices, procedures and equipment including computers and applicable software programs.
Record keeping systems, practices and procedures for processing employee and applicant information.
Principles and practices of sound communication; correct English usage, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Maintain confidentiality of files and records.
Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of diverse individuals, economic, cultural, ethnic and/or disability issues.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all those encountered.

Working Conditions
Professional business office environment; subject to public contact and interruption; intermittent exposure to a variety of individuals and viewpoints; occasional evening or weekend hours may occur on an as-needed basis.
Education & Experience

Associates degree in Human Resources AND at least one year of Human Resources experience. Prefer 3 to 5 years Human Resources experience.
Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Demonstrated experience and abilities to provide superior customer service.
