JOB SUMMARY:
Provide administrative support to the Risk/Labor Relations Manager, assist the operations in the understanding of policy and procedure and labor contact as it relates to individual situations, under the direction of Risk/Labor Relations Manager. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist with all compliance, inspection and proposed resolution for all Safety, OSHA statutes
Ability to understand and apply regulatory requirements in relation to a safe environment
Ability to maintain records in accordance with policy and procedure
Monitor all environments for prevention/causes of any accident
Able to maintain objectivity during any investigation through the decision-making process
Clearly present the company position during various union interactions, negotiations, and meetings
Maintain strict confidentiality
Present company expectations regardless of personal views
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Must be flexible, detail oriented, able to prioritize and able to multi-task effectively
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential materials and information
Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming License
Must be able to work in a fast paced, changing environment with multiple distractions and meet timelines
Ability to work in loud, crowded environment
Flexibility in schedule
Ability to complete any additional position related required training – such as OSHA 30

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

One (1) year Human Resources experience preferred
Some college preferred
OSHA experience

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping.
These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.
Constant contact with fellow Team Members
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
