Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Hours Worked: 40+/week
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Coordinates all administrative activities related to the organization’s personnel. This includes assisting with all aspects of hiring/firing, compensation, labor relations, benefits, OSHA, HIPAA and employee services by performing essential job functions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Three years previous human resources management experience.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
Superior reasoning abilities and sound judgment for decision making.
Must possess strong interpersonal communication, writing and organizational skills.
Present in neat appearance in proper attire as required by the position, facility and handbook policy.
Maintain confidentiality of all center and patient information at all times, as required by facility policy and HIPAA guidelines.

Must be able to organize multiple projects simultaneously.
Uses independent discretion/decision making.
Must be able to make decisions under pressure.
Must manage stress appropriately.
Must be able to work alone effectively and efficiently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential functions are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job. They are the major functions for which the person in the job is held accountable. The following are the essential functions of the job.
Duties:
1. Develop and nurture strong relationships with all staff members to create a trusted, positive work environment.
2. Manage personnel records including employee files, medical confidential files, I9 forms, etc. per governmental regulations.
3. Work directly with management team by assisting them with gathering, preparing, and maintaining documentation regarding employee disputes and assist in issuing disciplinary actions as needed.
4. Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution.
5. Develop and execute ideas to boost and maintain employee morale.
6. Stay abreast of and implement procedures for compliance of state mandated employee training and company required training for sexual harassment, OSHA and HIPAA.
7. Monitor pre-employment testing (drug testing and background check) and maintain compliance in eVerify program.
8. Administer and maintain benefit programs such as pension plans (401K, Profit Sharing Plan, DB), Short Term Disability insurance, and group health insurance.
9. Oversee and manage company insurance policies such as EPLI, Worker Compensation, Business Office Insurance, Umbrella, Cyber Liability, and Medical Malpractice Insurance.
10. Manage the staffing process by advertising for open positions, overseeing onboarding process, creating and implementing company hiring/welcoming procedures.
11. Recommend, develop, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain employee handbook.
12. Maintain mandated labor law posters and implement training of the OSHA Safety Program for all facilities.
13. Research and develop employment handbook policies and company practices in accordance with state regulatory laws.
14. Annually update the compensation summaries by conducting and analyzing salary surveys.
15. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
