Position : ICE CREAM SCOOPER
Job Description : JOB OVERVIEW:
AREA15 is looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for ice cream to join our team! We are
seeking individuals willing to create magic through the creation of artistic quality ice cream
treats. Ideal candidates will be well suited for delivering exceptional service to Visitors while
working in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Deliver excellent service to Visitors.
Follow all SNHD regulations regarding an ice cream establishment.Periodically wipe down counters, shelves, fridges/freezers, and cases utilizing proper
sanitization techniques
Utilize POS system to perform all financial transactions and always maintain cash handling
protocols.
Maintain outlet cleanliness exceeding Visitor expectations.Efficiently and accurately prepare menu items.Ensure proper portioning of product and maintain proper inventory/supply levels including
recording all product lost.
Educate Visitors on menu items.Ensure equipment is operating safely and properly including daily cleaning and periodically
recording temperatures of freezers.
Meet Key Performance Indicators as set by AREA15.Adhere to all AREA15 and Mack & Bolio’s policies and procedures.Promote a cheerful, efficient, and safe work environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke.
Must be able to work in dark environment that features flashing lights.Must be able to push and lift to 50 lbs.Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly.Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat, and sun exposure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be 16 years or older.
Excellent cash handling skillsAble to bend regularly, stand for extended periods of time and lift to 50lbs., unassisted.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Must have open availability and be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Must be proficient in English; additional language skills preferred.
